Hi Guys,

I always was curious but did not have a chance to confirm?

That's the way all Fusions come, there's really no reason to have anything there.

I installed this from a 2017 Lincoln MKZ. No more scraped knuckles and maybe a little less noise.

Hi gang. If no one here can come up with the part number, simply stop by or call (preferably stop by, you'll usually get better service) the Parts Department of your local Lincoln or Ford Dealer, tell them what you are looking for, and ask them for the part number and a price. Then you can negotiate price with them, or take the part number and online shop at the usual online Ford parts sellers.

And/or check with your local Salvage Yards for any wrecked MKZ's.

Good luck.

One thing it would do is make the 6 x 9 's sound better.

You can buy parts for a Lincoln from the Ford dealer ,we do it all the time. Built a bunch of MKZ's and MKS's and always ordered parts from our Ford dealer we did business with with no issues

Take a look at this video 2017 Ford Mondeo Vignale. At the 0:13 mark you can see the tray covering the speaker. Looks to be very similar.

Finally found it. I bought from the guy who have Lincoln MKZ 3.7 here locally.

Fit almost perfect, however I had to create additional holes.

Green holes are in the same places in FORD but for the red holes I had to create the holes in FORD in metal.

Quite clean and easy job!

I have to create one additional hole for trunk lamp
Hope it could be helpful for you.

Once or twice a year I will scrape the skin off the top of my fingers/hand on the open metal. This is my 3rd fusion and have done it on all of them. Once I get an idea of what actual parts are needed for my 19 ( just like the question being asked in the comment before this one) I plan to do the same, if not only to make the trunk more pleasant/cleaned up, but to protect my hands.

The same approach have the FORD financial department 😁
For me it is still odd. It seems that we should have it in our FFS, we paid for it, but do not have it :)
I have a different understanding of Premium Brand - For me the Audi and BMW in EURO is premium because... You have to pay additional for everything. I mean everything and the costs of additional functions are astronomically high - that is make this Brand PREMIUM 🤣🤣

Finally broke down and bought the trim/carpet. The hardest part appears to be cutting a spot for the light and will worry about tomorrow when it's light out (and I can see what I am doing). The biggest question I have is around fit. It doesn't completely connect to the trim on the sides (not a big deal) but there are two tabs that appear like it should fit into the sides (corners closest to the trunk) but just seems to be putting stress on the Velcro and it's going to force its way off/detach over time. Did you guys cut these off or were you able to tuck them back above the trunk side/walls trim? It looks like if I do this, I will not be able to keep the sides snapped into the trunk ceiling. I just noticed the corners didn't make it into the pictures. Can take more tomorrow if needed.
