Can they tell if you had a tune and put it back to stock?

Depends on what kind of work you having done. Fluid changes and other scheduled changes, then no. But, if you have an issue that requires them to hook it up to search for codes, then yes they can tell. No, they can't just set it back to stock (easily) because when you have a tune, the tuner locks the system. They can do a "jail-break" to get back in, but that can cause some of the cpu's to turn into a useless bricks. So, always best to return to stock tune, prior to going in for problem diagnostics.

Hi 2019. Yes. If they want to find out, they can tell. And very easily. There are easily discoverable traces.

That being said: Obviously, they aren't normally checking for modifications if you go in for routine maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
However, if you have an engine/transmission issue, especially one that will cost the company significant money in warranty costs, you need to assume they will be checking.

I think what they typically notice is very few key-on events, which tells them the car's been flashed recently. However if they want to dig deep they will absolutely be able to confirm that you had modified it and then went back to stock.

Unless they changed the design, the steeda bov doesn't fit on the 2019. I tried to use it for 10 minutes and it didn't fit and was leaking like crazy. I ordered a turbosmart dual port and it's been great.

They can tell how long the current tune has been installed for. So if you write the stock tune it will show how long its been on there (since last flashed). However, they can't prove there was a non-stock tune written previously. So they can only ask you why it was flashed.

At the same time, I'd never go to a dealership for anything except to pick up parts 😂
