I recently wanted to put a new set of tires and wheels. I was going to go to the factory size of 19 inches, but I'm going to go to 18 inches this time. I found this Flowone F5. They are 19 lbs each. Size of 18x9 and offset of 45. Also, I would like to put 255 40 18 or 255 45 18 tires. So what do you guys think about this wheels? The fitment calculator says it's OK. It's 9 inches wide, so I think I should take 255. Will there be no problem if this wheels are fitted to Ford Fusion Sport

Check the heights on the tires, I have 245 45 18's on mine. If I was gonna go with a 255, I'd go with a 40, and not 45, but like I said, look into the tire heights. You want to keep them as close to the stock height as you can or things get weird with the trans.
Thank you for the information. Do you know where I can find rim options based on the tire sizes? For example, rim options for 255 40 18. Also the bolt pattern must be the same 5x108 as stock? I don't know much right now because I just started to study about wheels and tires.

Hi Blaek. Yes, the new wheels must have the same bolt pattern as stock, unless you are going to get into installing lug/bolt adapters (which I would not recommend).
And you want to make sure all four corners of your vehicle use the same/extremely similar overall diameter wheel/tire, in order to ensure speedometer/odometer accuracy, avoid damage to the AWD system, and ensure proper operation of the ABS, TCS, ASC systems etc.

Here is a Tire Size Calculator which may help you fit properly sized wheels/tires to your Fusion: Tire Size Calculator

You input your factory wheel/tire size, and the aftermarket wheel/tire size to compare overall diameter.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.
Thank you so much!

Blaek,
In addition to the advice already provided, be aware that different brands, listed as the same size will be different in actual width. Michelins tend to run wide with squared shoulders, some other brands, not so much. The is no consistency. You want to add 20mm in width, and with the wrong tire, could rub inside or out.
Be cautious or it could get expensive.
Thank you for the advice!
