Reduced boost/manifold pressure...oil leaking through the turbos resulting in quiet a bit white smoke through the exhaust pipes, pronounced turbo whine - in a nutshell reduced engine power. You will know when those garrett turbo(s) are ready to give out.what’s the most obvious ways to tell if a turbo is about to go?
So sometimes when my car smokes when it’s warmer weather out, the smoke usually only happens when it’s warmer out and the car has been idling/remote start. I’m currently tuned on 91 with unleashed but just purchased a tune through cd3 from James. However it’s not been hitting its usual boost but I was informed it was possibly bad fuel.Reduced boost/manifold pressure...oil leaking through the turbos resulting in quiet a bit white smoke through the exhaust pipes, pronounced turbo whine - in a nutshell reduced engine power. Yeah oil level and coolant levels are perfect everytime I check them, and then smell from the exhaust isn’t an oil smell. I appreciate all of the response, the fusion sport community is amazingCondensation in the exhaust burning off. You drive the car, park it, and it sits all night. Next morning you start it back up, the exhaust heats up and cooks the condensation out of it, you'll get puddles under both tail pipes, and a vapor cloud. Other thing is that will give you some vaper is when you first start it in the morning, they tend to run a bit fat, and some tunes will make that worse. All you can do is keep an eye on your oil and coolant level, if one or the other drops off, then you know you got an issue.
