Hi all,
There is a post on 2gfusions about the Sync 3 2.2 update. I downloaded the update and successfully updated mine to 2.2. There don't seem to be a lot of changes, other than as a whole the unit seems snappier, and the right side LCD display next to the speedometer is now displaying info from bluetooth sources. Here is the change log for the 2.2 update from the 2gfusions post:
Change Log:
Sync 3 2.2.6
This software release is the latest update in our continued efforts to improve system performance, device connectivity, and the overall SYNC experience.
This software contains the following enhancements:

Navigation Equipped: http://ivsu.binaries.ford.com/owner-pack...381-LG.zip
Non-Navigation: http://ivsu.binaries.ford.com/owner-pack...381-LG.zip
Installation is simple. I got a 4 GB USB drive formatted as ExFat. Extract the zip file to the root of the USB stick. There should be 1 file and 1 folder containing multiple files on the USB drive. Turn the car on and insert the USB stick. You should almost immediately get a message that states "updating system software". After about 15 - 20 minutes you will get another message stating update is complete and to remove the USB drive. The new software will take effect the next time you start your car.
I have navigation on mine. I can only speak for the update process on navigation equipped models. People in other forums are reporting success with non-navigation models. Please be sure to download the correct files for your system.
Ford has not released these publicly for the Fusion Sport yet, so please be cautious and if you decide to upgrade, you are doing so at your own risk.
