Just received my strut tower brace and the directions don't give the torque specs for the top bolts.....

Anyone know what it is so I don't over tighten??

Thanks in advance!

Good and snug will be fine. they aren't structural, nor very large, so don't feel the need to crank them on to tight. Mine haven't loosened in 12K + miles.

I'd just use standard torque chart values based on the size and grade of the fastener if there aren't specific instructions. That's served me well whenever I had any questions.

Same here. I just tried tightening them by feel, good and snug.

Exactly what I did.

It definitely feels tighter in the front end especially over uneven paved and bumps. I found myself double checking I wasn't in sport mode!

I just got mine today, don't know what the size and grade of the bolts are, if you could share your info that would be nice. My internet searches are coming up with nothing on torque specs for the strut tower bolts.

Purpose of this? I never really touched suspension on my ST when I had it, despite all the performance mods. How much of an improvement is there for the suspension parts on the Fusion?
