Fusion SVT would be cool I think. I had a 13 put a GT emblem on the back and cobra on the grill, had a few people ask me about it. I told them it was a special edition type car that they only built 4,000 of. Wonder how many went home and got on their computer trying to find a Ford Fusion GT, LOL.

SVT would be sweet. Me personally, i would not want to intrude on the Mustangs "thing" though. Mustangs have SVT and SVO, Taurus has SHO, so I thought SPO could be fitting and unique to Fusion. Not sure if I will actually do it... I paid the full $40 for all the letters in this new badge so I will probably use the whole thing... idk, im just toying with the idea for now until im ready to put it on. Right now I have "Hybrid" back there so I can have fun for awhile. And just to set the record straight, I'm NOT the savage that removed the rear badges on this car. That was the previous owners doing... freakin savage.

I was gonna do a RS on mine since the Focus RS is long gone now, and you really don't see very many on the road to begin with.

Also, using the GT wouldn't be anything new. Think about it there was a time long ago when we have Escort GT's and Probe GT's, not to mention the Ford GT. So really using GT on fusion wouldn't be out of the realm of possible.

I debaged this beacuse for me it was too obvious. You can add to any car "SPORT". Proper naming could really give that distinguish touch for this rarely car.

Ford might have thought of calling this extraordinary version.

Even Focus has: ST, RS version...

FFS, have only poor "SPORT" ...

Shame on you Ford

I am thinking to have something similar to this

Yes, GT is definitely universal for Ford. It also wouldn't be out of the realm for the styling direction I want to (but don't know if I will) go. Which is, taking cues from the FG Ford Falcons, including the GT.

For sure it deserves even for one R

I like the Big R idea, in red that would look good on the back of mine since it's white. Do a murdered out emblems on the rear with a red R.

I’ve always thought these cars were the direct reincarnation of the classic Fairlane GT-A (Grand Touring - Automatic transmission). I’d love to put the GT-A badges and stripes on my car.

Imo the FuSpo is a touring car more than anything, so GT is most fitting as a grand tourer.

Focus, Contour, F150 - all had SVT versions.

Either leave it stock or debadge. My $0.02
Yeah, good point, I forgot about all those! However, my car was already debadged.... I'm trying to REBADGE, lol. Ive got the "SPORT" and ecoboost AWD badges ready to go on. I was just thinking about putting a little twist on it because I LOVE the Ford 3 letter performance acronyms, especially SHO.

Hi KcMP. It is your car and you can do whatever you like.

However, just one thought: The acronyms SVO/SVT etc., described actual/real departments of Ford/Ford Motorsports.
Perhaps I missed it in the previous replies, but when people inevitably ask what a "Fusion SPO" is, what are you going to tell them? All you can really and safely tell them is you made it up, since a quick Google nowadays will tell everyone a Ford SPO does not exist. So if you go that way, just be prepared for the very possible, even likely questions.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

If you want to use letters you already have, how about PTR = Performance, Touring, Rally (or Race). Then you could say you’ve got the fastest PTR in town! Ha!
