I was looking for similar thread here but cannot find. Did somebody tried to soundproof the doors? I think I will try it someday. I found one guy who did it.
Just for your curiosity I am attaching the video. Maybe it could be helpful somehow for you. I assume that for you added values could be only video without audio 😁

He used:

rubber sponge
butyl mat
alcohol but this time for degreasing 😄

Look how audio improved: 16:30 - 17:00

Costs: ~100$ not including your time
Time: ~3h for one door

Oh you’re right! That does make me unhappy! Haha! I suppose it wouldn’t be an effective sound deadener if it wasn’t very dense.

I know that you participate in races, so I assume that every pound make a difference and then I realized that silencing seems to be quite heavy It is always hard to find the right balance.
