With Torque that good it will make driving these on the street a lot of fun that's for sure since torque is what gets you up from a standstill and build momentum. Horsepower does the rest. Plus we should see some of the typical ECU tuning brands come out with something good for more power and torque. Just not sure what gains could be like.

Let's hope Ford gets the trans programming right. Some manufacturers purposely program the trans to keep the revs way too low for fuel economy purposes, and then you have to wait for the trans to downshift when you want to accelerate. Hopefully there will be a sport program that will keep things more lively. I understand the torque is available down low, but there is a limit. :)

It could in a way create a small market for those looking to tune the ECU so it tweaks the transmission so it gives us the power it really has the potential for all without harming anything. And during these times when fuel economy numbers are more important than ever we should see a growing trend of tunes coming online. Sort of like how in the 90's Japanese car makers purposely detuned engines, even Germans do this too, BMW is know for it. But during those times it was just for lowering power to align with standards, no fuel economy concerns.
