I’ll let yall know the outcome when I fill up this evening after work with the rough idle.
But does anyone have any experience dealing with P0496 Evap high purge flow
I have a list of reported causes from half data(all data) I was able to clear the check engine light but it’s obviously still there as a permanent code which will have to clear on its own. I’m thinking if that code doesn’t clear completely then the next step will be replacing the canister.
I’m hoping it doesn’t come to that because at 80k miles I’m not looking forward to tearing up the back end up.

Have any of you had it actually stall out from this. I’ve been dealing with this. I came up to a stop sign and it stalled out. I just replaced the purge valve solenoid but I can’t find anything about stalling out from this. Almost a week later after it stalled(today) it threw a code P0496 Evap high purge flow. I can’t really find this with anyone else
