Does anyone know the exact color of our rims or how to get it? Ford that I asked says they don't sell touch up paint for them. I need to repair a few spots. Anyone else have any issues?

Unfortunately, I do not. Carquest used to have a color match program where they would come out to your vehicle with a device that kind of looked like an old Polaroid camera. They would take an image of your color and be able to custom match it from that. It could compensate for old, faded paint that way.

Call around to your local car parts or paint supply dealers and see if they have a similar program.

Long ago, I used to be in the tire business, and repaired wheels that we scratched. If the damage is minor, just try a color that is close. Use increasingly fine sandpaper to get the damage smoothed out. Then touch it up with a similar color. Sometimes, you can add more coats of the touch up paint to darken the color. When it looks decent, put a coat or two of clear coat on top. You may be surprised how good it looks if you take your time.

If it's major damage, there are companies that specialize in wheel repair. Just Google it, if needed.

Hope this helps!

Mine have chipped and what I found that's a close match is GM storm gray M. Paint number code WA391e or 0522.

That's awesome. Thanks it's a huge help. First week I owned it I hit the rim twice. In last year 0. But need it fixed. I saw on YouTube how to repair the rims very easy just don't make the area to be repaired bigger than you need. I'll see if I can find it again and post it very helpful.

It's not a "color" per say... It's a hyper finish on top of a black wheel. Any touch ups you do will be fairly apparent when you get the wheels good and clean.

Yesterday I inflicted a scratch from a granite curb. (Why do I live in the granite state?)
I was quoted $150 from a specialist outfit to fix it. :(

That appears to be the going price as that is what it cost me to get mine fixed and painted. Still cheaper than a single new one.
