Yes, I finally picked up Sport and did a few mods today and heres one. Made a quick mount out of ABS and placed it in the cubbie hole.

That looks pretty slick. Hidden as well!
Nice spot, you get a tune already?

Yes i did and I did a few datalogs stock and tuned. Max boost stock was 14.4psi and with the tune it topped out at 18psi. I need to look over it more since it seems to be shifting at 5900 and I would think it could rev higher.

Awesome dude... i still havent decided on who to get a tune from yet..

Factory shift point... When I put mine on the dyno it would auto-upshift at 5900 and wouldn't complete the test. Had to drop it down to get a full test result.
Nice! Looks good and out of sight for the most part. Also, not blocking anything in your cluster like some. Glad you picked one up finally.

Vert, curious, were both of these datalogs where you noted maxboost with the car in Sport mode? I'm curious if Sport mode affects it at all. As far as it shifting at 5900 was this at WOT?

It's been awhile since I did any WOT, and I didn't do any datalogging, but one thing I found curious/interesting when I compared mine stock vs Unleashed tune was:
It would shift to third gear at a slower vehicle speed with tune vs stock while doing 0-60 runs? Not a lower rpm! It appeared to reach a higher rpm at a lower speed in second gear with the tune. (obviously it was faster tuned) Now particularly in earlier conversations on this forum, third gear was a source of performance frustration, this was before any tunes existed. Even though on my 0-60 runs tuned the car seemingly was shifting to third gear sooner, third gear no longer felt like it's Achilles' heel. Third gear is "managed/used" much better with tune IMO. Now I am much the layperson in these matters. I assume torque management is an important factor here correct? I admit to using this term "torque management" without understanding how it works or it's existence lol.

The dyno run was at WOT on my end, but that's stock.

As far as slower vehicle speed shifting WITHOUT it being lower RPM, I'd venture to bet that it's more to due with the torque converter lockup point. The torque converter will slip until it hits a certain RPM where it locks in. If you're at a lower vehicle speed, I wonder if the torque converter is still not locked in when it's shifting... Only real downside to that, is the transmission can get hot if the torque converter is constantly slipping.

Not sure TBH.

My stock and tuned runs where WOT and in sport mode. Since our cars are adaptive learning, I plan to make a few more runs in a few days.
To me, third gear still seems to bog down and I highly doubt TM has anything to do with the gear. Im sure TM affects 1st and 2nd though.

Makes sense TM effects first for self preservation reasons. (traction too maybe)

I'm thinking that what I experienced makes sense.
Could it be that in my example with the tune that 2nd gear is getting "rung" out quicker because TM is LESS involved?
If your reading Torrie any insight from your end?
I did the same thing with mine. Got a magnetic cell phone mount from amazon and mounted it down there

very nice! I'm trying to fabricate something similar :)

That's a nice, non-intrusive, sport to mount it.

That was a good idea.

Ive ordered gray CF vinyl that might match the trim in sport which I will use to wrap the pod. I just used 3m tape to mount it to the cubbie.

I'd really like to take the nGauge and modify it to fit in the square hole of the vent, kinda like P3 gauges does. Pipe dream I'm sure, and I'm not going to spend that amount of money on the gauge, and then rip it apart to modify it. Still, would be nice.
I decided to change my location of my Ngauge and moved it to the dash thanks to a generic go pro mount and 3M emblem tape.

Prob way easier to keep an eye on when driving. I like that spot

Much easier to keep an eye one, but Im sure someone will mention the airbag. All I have to say about that is I drove around for 3 years with a Takata airbag so Im not concerned.

Curious as to what it says your IAT1 and IAT2 shows.
