Looking for a set of Catless downpipes for my sport. Recently talked to Ultimate Performance and they no longer offer the catless option due the the new EPA regulations. If anyone has a lead on a set new or used please let me know!

New doesn't exist...as UP is only company that produces DP for the Sport. You want catless you have 3 options....1. wait for a used set to pop up for sale 2. find someone who will do custom Downpipes for you or 3. buy the catted Downpipes & cut the Cats out & weld in New piping

Ya at this point it seems like my only hope to get a used or custom one. I guess I was hoping someone on here could point me in the direction of someone who has already done this for their car.

That fourth option is also not offensive to other motorists, the earth, and pedestrians stuck in your exhaust fumes. Running catless exhaust is right up there with pouring used motor oil in your neighborhood storm drains. You’re belching nasty unburnt carcinogens and fuel into the air - a resource other people use, just to save a couple bucks. That’s why we’ve collectively, as a nation, decided to ban it. A+ democracy work, boys!

I'm not tree hugger, but I don't understand why people think running a catless exhaust will make more power, Magna Flow makes some really go0d cats, that flow way more than any stock one can. The issue running any cats at all is the guys that want to have their car popping n banging every time they come to a stop. That doesn't work well with cats, they tend to break up, and then clog.

I’ve got MKZ turbos, 3” catted DPs and full 2.5” exhaust. IMO unless someone is going to install much bigger turbos, open up the whole system to 3”, and completely kill the bottom end for the sake of top speed, there’s no real performance benefit to be gained from going catless. It’s been said many times before, we’re talking 162 cubic inches of displacement and a very heavy car. The exhaust has to be matched to the engine and any other mods to create the best balance.

I will sell you my stock downpipes, but I really don't know how beneficial it would be for you unless you personally know a good welder.Looking for a set of Catless downpipes for my sport. Try not to laugh, but I have seen a few cars with hacked up down pipes. The guy basically cut the cat out, and welded in a piece of pipe. the pipe was ok, but the weld, not so much.
