Keep in mind too that for anybody planning to exceed 100 MPH I think the recommended pressure is actually 42 PSI. Don't take my word for it, though. Check your car's decal, and your owner's manual, to confirm. They say on the side decal to add 3 PSI for operation over 100 MPH. This is the only car I've ever seen that had a "increase tire PSI by 3 for operation over 100 MPH" notice on it. Then again most cars probably never expect to see 100 MPH. Obviously Ford planned for these cars to see high speeds.
