Plan will continue as stated. Disconnect battery tonight, see what happens.
In meantime get Forscan setup, need to get the hardware and download it. Do you guys prefer using a laptop or your phones? (Windows or Lite versions)
If you don't want to use FORScan, a good reader is the OBDLink MX - it supports the additional Ford CAN Bus, and they have their own solid & reasonably easy to use app that works with it. If you have a cheaper adapter that does read Ford MS-CAN, you don't need the paid version of FORScan. The paid features are needed if you want to make changes. In meantime get Forscan setup, need to get the hardware and download it. Do you guys prefer using a laptop or your phones? pretty sure its not serviceable separate from buying a new strut/shockOKAY!
I tested on Forscan and got back a VDM: C110F:13-0A. Right Rear Damper Solenoid.
Looked this up briefly. Could be the solenoid is bad or the harness is open or shorted or just a poor connection.
I will have to go digging next weekend though because I have my wife's birthday this weekend.
I am guessing its here below, but I can't seem to find it as a stand alone part. Maybe y'all would have better luck.

I agree, I tried looking for a separate part for that and I couldn't find one either. I don't need it, I was just trying to help @LHawk270 if I could by finding one, but I really don't think they sell that separately.pretty sure its not serviceable separate from buying a new strut/shock
Do you know in a 2017 fusion sport what coding to turn off the ccd sensors?Maybe you need to clarify what you are asking then. There is no "driver modes" on any of the stock Fusion or the MKZ IPCs we can use. Driver Modes are on newer vehicles and new generation IPCs. There is Drive Control, which is the CCD and PCM controls. But that is all. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
so can i use this to disable the read out from the ccd sensors if they have been deletedThis mod requires FORScan (PC Version) and an OBDLink MX (or similar OBD Device that supports MS-CAN): For 2017+ Fusion Sport Only: IPC (Instrument Cluster Panel) Changes (Module 720): Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) Suspension Control: 720-01-01 xxxx xxxX xxxx Enabled: Add 8 to value at X... (example if it is a 4 make it a C (12)) Adaptive Steering Control: 720-04-01 xxxx xxxX xxxx Enabled: Add 1 to value at X Thanks @DaMiFo for testing this modification out... and taking these photos:

do you have the coding for the climate and st performance screen?Yeah. So far, I have done:
-Fog lights on with high beams
-Driver's cimate control from right IPC screen
-"ST Ford Performance" SYNC 3 boot screen
-Disable double-honk when car is running
-Disabled "enhanced engine noise" (I since put this back)
-Decreased 12V powerpoint timeout from 1hr to instant off with ignition, for dash cam
There's more, but I don't want/need to change anything else.
Do you know where to turn off the CCD sensors from reading? i have deleted them and it doesnt like that so its throwing all kinds of codesHere's my AsBuilt code for my IPC. Contains Active Steering & CCD menus, climate screen, maybe a couple others things.

yes i reset the ride height calibration, when i made some other changes with forscan.. Im not lowered yet, (steeda springs sitting here) but the values were a bit wonky at ride height with me sitting in the car, so i did the calibration..Im almost positive the two use the VDM in exactly the same way.. raptor has 3 shock modes, offroad, normal and sport, which probably translates to comfort, normal and sport on the FFS..@Downforce137 did you post on a Ford Raptor community that you used the Ride Height calibration in Forscan on your Fusion Sport? If you did, are you lowered and did you see any errors?
HOW TO: 2019+ Live Valve Recalibration - FORScan
Like the post you quoted, I'd suggest looking at the linkage on the front shock for whichever side is showing the -4X valuewww.fordraptorforum.com
Do you think if i reset my ride height that it will help with me throwing codes since i no longer have the strut sensors?yes i reset the ride height calibration, when i made some other changes with forscan.. it made quite a big difference on my raptor, but nothing really noticeable on the fusion.. ill report back when i get the springs on..
I just installed my Steeda springs and when driving the car they felt softer than stock, so I used Forscan to do the Ride Height procedure and it ended up with the "Drive Control Malfunction" error on the left front sensor just like the one guy on the Raptor forum that had the arm disconnected on his. Except mine was not disconnected in any way.yes i reset the ride height calibration, when i made some other changes with forscan.. Doubt it. Your ride height sensors are likely fine. You're getting errors because you no longer have a part that is expected to be there.Do you think if i reset my ride height that it will help with me throwing codes since i no longer have the strut sensors?
Nope.Do you think if i reset my ride height that it will help with me throwing codes since i no longer have the strut sensors?
Kinda weird that it's riding softer. The Raptor goes full stiff when the drive control malfunction pops up so I'd assume the fusion does the same.. I'll keep this in mind when I change my springs.. thanksI just installed my Steeda springs and when driving the car they felt softer than stock, so I used Forscan to do the Ride Height procedure and it ended up with the "Drive Control Malfunction" error on the left front sensor just like the one guy on the Raptor forum that had the arm disconnected on his. It was almost like the sensor just could not read correctly given how different it was from stock. I ended up removing it from the lower arm and chassis and worked the arm over a number of times while watching the PID in Forscan. It was reading the values as you would expect.
I decided to add a washer underneath the sensor bracket to raise it up a few mm in the hope that it would put it back into a stable position to read. I can now successfully run through the Ride Height calibration without issues now. but the front end still feels softer than stock to me.![]()

it is not possible to run coil overs and stock struts unfortunately. how would i delete the vdm ? and what is rpg?Nope.
The code is because the electronic part isn't there.. is buying the correct struts an impossibility? You may want to look into deleting the VDM completely or the RPG delete thing..
