I’m trying to install interior atmosphere lighting and you have to transfer interior door handle to new piece. There’s a metal pin pressed into the plastic. Has anyone installed this trim and lighting kit from cnpartswholesale? here’s the pin that needs to come out.

It looks like the plastic was factory molded in. I don't think you can do anything without breaking it.
I have tried to find anything in web but without success.

well the pin is metal, so i’m guessing they pressed it in at the factory. but you can’t buy just the door handle with a new pin and spring. So how does the manufacturer expect you to get the damn pin out
