I love my 2018 fusion sport

I just found this forum I have very basic knowledge of cars but I want to take care of my car and eventually customize it. The great thing about the 2018 ffs is how attractive it already is and the twin turbo V6 is faster then most cars on the road. With that said I still do want to make a few changes. At the moment it's damaged the driver side front end was hit by an f150 who doesn't know how to check their Blindspot before changing lanes and I have to wait for the insurance to do their thing and get my car in the shop. But it did already have a few noises coming from the front end usually going over bumps I hear a creaking noise and turning at slow speeds I hear a clicking noise. I saw some feedback that made it seem like a normal thing for a ffs , if not and it's an issue I need to have addressed please anyone who can help will be greatly appreciated. Especially since I got a power train only warranty I will have to fix it or pay for it myself... If anyone knows of common issues that occur on the 18 ffs it would be greatly appreciated and taken into sincere consideration. In the future I hope I can be in the conversations about after market parts and kits but for now I need to learn about the car and what sort of upkeep I need to do to keep the car running strong, also if anyone knows how to get some more mpgs out of it without losing power and or the interior that would be great.

There are lots of things in this forum covering maintainence items for first time owners to look at. Mainly in the drive line concerning the transmission and AWD system.

As far as the clicking in your front end, it's super common and due to a badly made washer from Ford. They did end up creating a fixed version but IMO I never changed mine and the clicking went away. The issue isn't mechanically dangerous afaik.

Welcome to the forums tho!
