I'm new to this forum but then again I didn't know about it until researching the new Fusion Sport. I placed my order just last week for a new sport with almost everything but sunroof & park assist. No ship date yet in fact does anyone know standard leadtime?

Ha, I actually went in to order an SHO because I wasn't aware of the fusion sport. After seeing the total price for the SHO I had to stop and think if I really wanted to pay that much for an outdated design. I started cross shopping used 5-series and Charger R/T's when I went back to Ford's site and saw the 2017 Fusion Sport site. I went back to the dealer and told him I wanted to price it out. After seeing the total price I pulled the trigger - he warned me it was a late order item and would be awhile until it came in, but I'm in no rush.
Still hasn't arrived...but is what it is. I just double checked my email history and it was May 14 that I ordered - so only 6 weeks ago. If it ends up arriving in the next week at least your lead times seem to be lower than expected

Congrats! I'd be looking to option up very similar to you. I like how Ford separated the sunroof from a major package. I don't like the added weight up top and barely used the sunroofs I've had.
What color did you go with?
Really looking forward to hearing how you like the car when you receive it.
I ordered it in Shadow Black. I have a sunroof now in my escape & I like it however the interior gets dirty quite fast when I leave the top open on nice days. I ordered the cooled seats so I figured I can start the car before I leave work & have it nice & temperate when ready to leave.
Did your new Sport arrive as planned? I see delivery times are pushed 10-12 weeks now.

Nope! Pinged the dealer last week and he still said Ford reported my order as "produced" but not yet shipped. I'm not sure if there's production/quality issues on the first runs or what. I'll check again next week. When it arrives I'll be posting pictures and a brief review.
I hope there are no real issues and more like they are just ensuring good quality by performing extra inspection or maybe it just needs to wait for a truck heading towards you dealership. Best of luck with delivery!
Anothing thing I thought of is for the initial launch they're going to want to build inventory in dealerships at the same time. It might be that the factory is building a large national first shipment that will go out at the same time. After that the standard lead time will apply. My dealership warned me when I ordered that the lead times won't be accurate initially and "are you sure you want to order now and wait?" etc etc...
No big deal, I'm a patient guy.
