Salutations everyone,

I am the newest owner of a 17 FFS shadow black 28000km (17k).
Build date 7/17.

12 days and about 1000km.
Initial thoughts, fast and thirsty. Comfortable and quiet. Heavy.
Good Build quality. Except for the swollen lug nuts.

Mustang
Bronco 2
Renault GTA (alliance)
Aerostar 4.0 AWD
Focus 5dr
Focus SVT 5dr
Escape (2.5)
Focus 5dr
Focus sedan
Escape 2.0
Fiesta 5dr 1.0

..... And now my FFS.

Located in Southern Georgian Bay, Ontario. Great roads.

$1,60/litre 93 octane
3.8 litres to the gallon.
Ouch.

Thanks to the enthusiasts that contribute to this forum.

Dealer replaced lugs under warranty. I'll be sure to replace them again in a few years. That time out of my pocket so I'll be sure to check out Gorilla.
Thanks.

Welcome fellow Ontarian. 1.65 last time I filled up. I have a 17 black too. Running around 11.5 l/km in mixed and slightly lead foot. She'll do 7-7.5 litres at a steady 100kph.
Still love the car after 4 years. Really good compromise on power, comfort and practicality and I'm a fan of the fusion styling. Only real change I made was upgrading the brakes and tires to get the most out of spirited daily driving.
Hope you enjoy it. You've got the best 4 door for Canada- great for touring and handles the snow and slippery as good as any awd suv IMHO.

All the best. Foz

The brakes have been upgraded. Slotted and drilled up front. Performance pads all around.
Will be getting summer only tires in near future as I will be parking it in the winter and using my fiesta 1.0.
My commute is only 4km and the FFS will be used for weekend/evening drives as well as trips down Toronto.

As rare as the FFS is, my fiesta in much rarer.

I like switching between the fast 2.7tt and the feels fast 1.0t which by the way won world engine of the year twice. They both are wonderful engines.
