It would be insane if Hennessy gets their hands on one. HPE450 setup would be ideal. I'm sure the stock engine itself has a lot of power just locked away. A proper tune alone could extract a good amountStarting to think Hennessey performance might want to get their hands on the Fusion sport, great platform for extracting more power and it's not like Ford has a performance sedan as yet. Kicking this up to 450 will give it Chevy SS like performance.
Ford does currently have a pseudo-performance sedan in the SHO.it's not like Ford has a performance sedan as yet. .
Ford Edge Sports with just a Stage 1 tune are running 0-60 in 4.8 sec and the ¼ mile in 13.4 @ 101mph.Kicking this up to 450 will give it Chevy SS like performance.
Completely forgot about that SHO version. Doesn't the police interceptor version of the Taurus include some things the SHO version does?Ford does currently have a pseudo-performance sedan in the SHO.
Ford Edge Sports with just a Stage 1 tune are running 0-60 in 4.8 sec and the ¼ mile in 13.4 @ 101mph.
The Chevy SS auto does 0-60 in 4.6 sec and the ¼ mile in 13 flat @ 109mph
The much lighter 2017 Ford Fusion Sport with a Stage 1 tune should see much more than a 2 tenths and 4 tenths reduction in 0-60 and ¼ mile times, respectively, over the Stage 1 Edge Sport.
For reference, the Hennessy Maxboost 435 Lincoln MKS did 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and the ¼ mile in 13 flat @ 107 mph.
The Police Interceptor sedan can be optioned to create a psuedo-SHO (3.5 Ecoboost [365/350], AWD, etc).Completely forgot about that SHO version. Doesn't the police interceptor version of the Taurus include some things the SHO version does?
