As long as you don't cut out the resonator or the catalytic converters, you shouldn't induce any drone.

I certainly would, but I couldnt offer nearly as much as these things go for. I recently had to dump a bunch of money into the good ol truck so my mod budget got eaten into.

What is the inlet pipe diameter?

I believe they are 2.25". It's designed with a flare end that slips over the existing pipe and clamps together. You can see the clamps in the photos that I posted.
