I have a 2012 fusion sport 3.5 that is misfiring. I hooked up a code reader and it says I have a cylinder 1 misfire. I replaced the #1 coil put in new plugs and it is still missing. The codes that came up are PO301 cylinder 1 misfire, PO171 bank 1 too lean, PO201 Injector circuit open cylinder 1, PO355 Ignition coil E Primary-secondary circuit and PO356 Ignition coil F Primary-secondary circuit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi glassdigger. A P0301 DTC could be one or more of many issues. Including:

• Faulty spark plug or wire
• Faulty coil (pack)
• Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
• Faulty fuel injector
• Burned exhaust valve
• Faulty catalytic converter(s)
• Running out of fuel
• Poor compression
• Defective computer (PCM)

In this case, among many things, it could still be a bad COP/injector, a bad PCM etc.However, when there are tthis many possibilities...plus more...all we can do is blind Internet guess

A vacuum leak or fuel injector issue can cause the same engine codes I would do a compression test on cylinder 1 first

The P0201 is what caught my eye. You've already replaced the plug and coil but if you have a bad injector then you won't get combustion. That is the code I'd be focusing on. Just my 2 cents.

The injector was bad, I replaced it now it runs fine.
