Anyone had any issues like this on their factory wheels? I don’t use any wheel cleaner on them, I just use car soap and wash the wheels when I’m done washing the rest of the car. I’ve owned the car for about a year. Is this a one off freak issue, or has anyone else experienced this? I’m assuming the easiest fix would be to take the wheel and have it painted?

I have similar little spots, and if I'm not mistaken, it's not uncommon for us.
Of the two rims on my car that are still the factory finish (look untouched vs the other two) they both little spots like that on them.

Hi Kester. If your Fusion is still within the 3 year/36,000 mile New Vehicle Warranty, it will be repaired/replaced under warranty. Make a service appointment and show it to them. The Service Department will need to take photos and submit to Ford, but it will be taken care of.

If out of warranty, you can have a wheel repair shop re-clear coat them, or attempt to repair it yourself.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.
