Brake Upgrades

Holy mother of jesus this has been an ordeal. I've spent hours gathering this information and decided to share it with whoever may still even own this car, I've seen only one other in person and am having trouble finding definitive information on Reddit threads and even this forum for the car.
I have a 2018 Fusion Sport, I've been looking for a brake and rotor front/rear kit, more in particular the Powerstop Z23 kit with the carbon fiber ceramic pads.
If you're looking for a brake upgrade kit, BE EXTREMELY WARY.
Almost every popular site I've looked into has had a completely different Part# for the Powerstop kit. Powerstop says the correct kit is K8975, but other sites say it is K7231, which is for Lincoln (MKz?) models. I'm fairly certain that the K7231 will also fit perfectly fine on the FuSpo. From what I can gather, certain Lincoln models have a lot of interchangeable parts with the FuSpo, but I've also gotten part #'s for other Fusions.
Other Fusion trim's front rotors will not fit on the Fusion Sport, the Fusion Sport has a front rotor diameter of 345 mm compared to other trim's 300 mm (could be wrong on exact spec.)
It's very frustrating that so many different auto sites I've searched do not have a specific filter for this.
If you are also looking for brake kits, and you also lie between the beginner and intermediate spectrum of mechanical knowledge like myself, don't try to figure it out on your own. I am great with researching things like this and this gave me an absolute fit. I'd highly advise speaking to a company representative or consulting your local parts store/Ford dealer. Spare yourself the confusion, I've been down an ADHD rabbit-hole on this for roughly 8 hours now.

Hunting down the right part numbers is a ton of fun!

My VW CC has 340mm or 345mm rotors listed. It took me a minute to learn they are the same, but listed differently depending on a factor I forgot. Almost every parts catalog in the US has the wrong battery size listed, and the only way to get the correct size is to check a code on a tag in the trunk which SOME catalogs use as a reference to get the correct size. My side skirts don't match and I'm having a heck of a time finding a decent replacement for the one that doesn't belong.

The joys of driving uncommon trims of common cars.

I had no issues when I ordered pads and rotors from R1 concepts. The geomet rotors have been solid even through the punishing I’ve given them. Though I did seem to have an issue finding new slides and everyone you talked to at a parts counter had no idea what a FFS was and it’s differences. I just stopped trying to have them look through parts lists and had them pull up 2018 Edge ST front slides and they were exact. I got standard fusion slides for the rear and all fit perfectly.

I'm going say you didn't read enough. I installed the Power Stop K7231 Kit, two years ago. Fits perfectly and works great. Posted about it. Have no idea what the K8975. Can't even find online, so can't advise on that.
I wanted to order: K7231 (Lincol MKX) but my local dealer confirmed that the proper kit is K8975 (dedicated to Ford Fusion Sport)
In both kits brake discs are the same (345mm front and 316mm rear) but brake pads from K7231 need a little adjustment and in K8975 fits perfectly - this i sthe information I received.
Hope it helps. I am still waiting for my shipment :) - I will keep you informed.
Not to necro this thread but do these work? 315mm rears versus the 300mm previously stated for our cars:

I'll have to double check, but I'm pretty sure the rears were a little bigger than the others. Still a solid rotor though, I'm currently working on a big upgrade, but been busy with other stuff.

I went ahead and ordered them; all the info from this forum and fitment from PowerStop's site lined up. Update next Wednesday in my build thread!
