Hello all,
I am still chasing the mystery air noise in my car.
Driver's side - sounds like a fender liner vibration but all the retainers are tight, nothing appears to be loose. The noise seems to be coming from mid- fender height.
I found a black bag of insulation inside the engine compartment, left side, wedged between the inside of the upper fender and the cowl panel. No bag on the passenger side.
Is this supposed to be here? I assume for noise reduction?
Sadly it's not a bag of money. :-(
This is right where the noise seems to be coming from.
Thanks for any help. I can post a photo of needed.

Should have two, I would say it had work down to it.

Thank you. I just spoke with my local Ford dealer and he stated these do not come from the factory, they're more of an add on item to eliminate fender liner vibration caused from wind.
Guess I will continue to move this one around until I (hopefully) can get rid of this noise.
Is his information correct?

Never heard of that, but what ever. there are two of those and two foam pieces that go towards the back of the fender next to the front doors.
