I heard that the newer 2.7's like on the Edge ST are different and use an actual gasket. The Fusion Sport (even 2019), as far as I can tell, still uses the old style oil pan with RTV as the gasket. There's no direct swap because of something related to the PCV system with the new pans.

I wish they would just get a gasket made.

I haven't seen the mating surfaces, but does the pan have flat mating surface? Does the bottom of the engine have a flat surface? Since they are using some form RTV, I am assuming the answer is no.

RC...just wow. Impressive build! Found forum doing a quick search to delete my stock antenna and found this gold mine. Just picked up my '17 Sport over the weekend and love it! Here I thought i'd be happy lowering the car...you have done amazing work!
Thanks. Just doing stuff for fun. Now I have to take the car in to get the whole front repainted from the jackass that dropped that huge piece of glass on the freeway.

Impressive build. Got any new updates?
Thanks. Not really. Haven't had time to do any more datalogging to finalize the tune. That's kinda all that's on the list at this point.

It's been a really long time since there was something new, performance wise, for me to do. I saw someone try this and thought why not? I got it on clearance with 10% off. $89 to my door. The only thing I had to do was endless enlarge the upper hole. Funny that the mustang uses smaller bolt up top than the Fusion. Otherwise it's a direct bolt on. The rear suspension does feel a little tighter now.

Finally had a small sale and ordered the splitter. Kind of a pain to install.

Decided to add the rear splitters. Had to remove the splash guards.

Finally got rear shock mounts that fit since Steeda was useless in getting me the correct hardware. J&M work perfectly. If you use the lower holes to give you a little more shock travel back then you'll need to remove the guide studs. Only mod. Unfortunately, you can't use the dust caps as they're too big.

Just waiting for the paint to cure, then ppf and install. Amazing what a 2 stage spray paint can do.
