If you search, there are at least two threads on weight with others that have used certified scales.
Stock true curb weight is in the 4070 to 4180 range, I believe (depending upon options).

2019 with all options weighs 4190.

 

Mine seems to be very heavy 4448 in the time of dyno.
2017 with all option (spare wheel, jack in trunk, floor mats, trunk carpeting inside and driver inside, aluminium mask replaced with metal one.)
Now it should be lighter with new wheels on it.

 

I've fix my fare share of them at work, they built the thing like a tank, they have very little flex compared to older platforms. Namely the old Fox body, that use to be the talk back in the 80's n 90's about how they flexed really bad. Look at the frame rails on the front where the cross member bolts to it, not a lot there. We add a strut tower brace to a Fusion, but is it really needed ? More than likely not, but it doesn't hurt either. They're just a well built car, they have it where it counts, and have always had a really good crash test rating since 2013 when the last body came out.

 

I think the latter is the closest, mine weighed in (minus my 200lbs) almost exactly that with 1/4 tank of gas full spare and jack kit (street trim).

 

In comparison my 2013 SHO weighed in at 4665 lbs with driver and street trim!

HAHA, some of your guys curb weights, is what mine weighs with me in it.
The benefits of being a jockeys weight (luckily not height) I guess.

 

I hope that guy who made a DYNO did not have a fat ass I have to work a little bit on that weight (definitely have to remove spare wheel with jack)

 

I find the fusions power with a tune and usual mods, to be very linear and predictable both on the track and the street. Imho the perfect car for those who need the extra seats for family and younger children. Ford really did their homework correcting the simple things muffed up on the sho platform, ie drain plug on the front PTU, warning indicator on the hood if its not closed, 400lbs lighter, standard sport mode. 3.26 final drive ratio. Im very impressed with what a great job they did on a classic sleeper.

My mustang GT is akin to a caged animal whose motor wants to rip itself out of the engine bay and take off down the street, loll It takes quite a bit to figure out for launches without torching the rear tires (275/40/19s) but the coyote drivetrain is simply excellent with launch control, track apps and line lock to help the driver, internal timers ie 0-60 through 1/4 times, lateral Gs, braking 0-100, 100-0 (in Mexico). The Brembo 6piston front calipers are simply the best brakes ive ever had ( Ive owned SVO mustangs, 05 STI, 03 Cobra and SHOs). Again Ford did their homework for the muscle car affectianato on the exhaust tuning, like a baby crying the small block v8 brings a tear to your eyes.

In contrast the Mustang is a street brawler, the Fusion Sport a hitman. Both solid choices without question.

Thing to keep in mind about the weight factor is the fact were talking a AWD car. and a 4 door at that.

 

Weight:

Spare wheel: 30 pounds

Spare wheel with jack: 36,44 punds
