Hi dbsimms. Depends on the other wheel specs...i.e. the offset of the new wheel, centerbore, lug spacing, the specs of the tire you will be mounting on the wheels, etc.

Was looking at some Forge Star forged wheels, +55, 5:108mm same as stock. Was planning on putting a 235/45x19 tire on them

A 235 size tire will look stretched on a 9 inch wheel I would recommend a 245/40/19

Agree with 245 as a minimum. 55 offset will get the tire around flush with fender, maybe protrude a smidge.
