Has anyone tried an Edge Sport engine cover on our cars?
At least it has some color. Could easily put a Ford emblem or Ford Performance badge to the left of the lettering.
I've looked into this in the past. It seems to raise up a little higher than ours, and ours sits incredibly close to the hood as it is. So I have a feeling it won't fit, but I haven't found an Edge 2.7 engine cover cheap enough to try it.
Walking up to my car I used my remote start and seen a critter run out from under the car... I got to thinking I should have a look under the hood and found this... Little bugger...

So I tried this route, and holy crap, it is definitely an interference fit with the hood. Did you trim the edge cover down at all? I'm thinking about hot knifing a few spots to make it work.
I haven't done it (I don't have an Edge Sport cover) but it seems like you could maybe coat the inside of the cover in chalk dust, then lay it over the engine and see where it makes contact, so you'd know where you need to cut.
