Still would like to find the Ford part numbers. I can have my buddy get them for me once i have them.

Does this oil separator serve the same purpose as a catch can? If so, is there an outlet to drain the accumulated oil like a catch can?

Yes it’s the same. To drain, you just unscrew the bottom “cup” of the container, and dump out the oil/liquid into your preferred disposal container.

There's a difference in function between this and the full on catch can, though, isn't there? Something about the catch can being plumbed to catch vapors in both positive and negative crank case pressure situations?

Installed, hardest part is cutting the stock connectors off, I used a small hacksaw to cut the heat shrink off; the line Steeda provides is 6" in length so I cut it on half and used 3" per side; getting the Steeda line over the stock connectors takes some effort, leave the clamps loose until it is on the car and then tighten.
